Exploring the ocean through sound – seeing it the way they do.

Our research interests are in anything sound-related. However, we specialise in marine soundscapes, the auto-detection of marine life using passive acoustics, acoustic modelling, and how anthropogenic noise impacts sensitive marine life. Having worked with a range of species, from the smallest creatures in the oceans to the largest, we have developed our own way of processing large acoustic datasets in good time. As a result, our work has taken us around the world.
